Daventry Sixth Form – KS5 Results
DAVENTRY SIXTH FORM STUDENTS ARE ON THEIR WAY TO STUDY AT SOME OF THE TOP UNIVERSITIES IN THE COUNTRY ON A DAY OF EXCELLENT KEY STAGE 5 RESULTS
With a pass rate of 100% for BTEC courses, 92% for A Level courses and one in four grades being awarded an A*-B, today has been a pleasing morning!
This year’s results continue to show improved outcomes for our students with a range of universities chosen, with the vast majority achieving their goal to go their first choice. For example, Jordan Simpson-Brown, our Head Girl, is our first-ever student to be accepted at the prestigious Royal Veterinary College. Our top achiever, Freya Marriott, attained A* A* A which is an outstanding achievement! These are just two of many good-news stories from the morning.
Mr Bhavin Tailor, Interim Headteacher at The Parker E-ACT Academy states:
“Today is a testament to the hard work of our students and Daventry Sixth Form staff that so many leave to continue their studies at some of the best universities in the country. As an academy community, we are delighted to be celebrating these excellent results together.”
Mr Roger Eadon, Headteacher at DSLV commented that:
“These very positive results are further evidence that the Daventry Sixth Form provides high quality opportunities for post 16 students. Collaboration between the two schools is allowing us to utilise the strongest teachers in each academy. The dedication from staff, the commitment of students and the support from home has helped produce the many success stories today.”
